May Makeup + Beauty Favourites

It's Finally Feeling a bit like Summer! Am I right, or am I right? (At least 3 days out of the week around here, on average.) I mean, It's only rained once this week!  That means lighter (looking) makeup, and warmer nights, I'm loving it!

I've got quite a few new cosmetics loves as well, and I'm so excited to share them with you!! Let's get into it.

On my face I've been loving the Avalon Organics Vitamin C renewal cleansing gel. It smells fantastic, It's organic, it does a good job on my skin - pretty much everything I want my cleanser to do for me. This is a new purchase for me, and I'm glad I gave it a try. I've been strongly veering towards organic, simple, cruelty free products and foods more and more lately. It's been making me feel really good on so many different levels. And this cleanser is something I would totally recommend!

Before I cleanse my face I've been removing my makeup with the L'oreal Paris Sublime Radiance Sensational Cleansing Oil. This is my first experience with a cleansing Oil... I'm hooked. Now, I don't use it every day, maybe half the time. It makes your skin feel so wonderful and moisturized and pampered. But a lot of days I'm too lazy and just use a simple face wipe and be done with the whole thing. But on the days I do add this to my nighttime routine, I really notice a difference.

In the shower I've been washing my body, yes washing, with coconut oil. This is just regular coconut oil, like the kind you'd cook with, or moisturize your legs, or remove your makeup. I'm washing myself with it. This was actually recommend to me by my naturopath, who (maybe TMI) said it may help with my constantly itchy, and sensitive legs. I have to say It's been helping a lot! regular soaps and moisturizers and just too harsh for me I'm beginning to learn, especially scented ones, or anything with chemicals/alcohols. That's another reason I've been sticking to natural/simple beauty products.
The oil leaves my skin feeling totally moisturized, I don't even need to apply any moisturizer any more. It's like two steps in one! Loving it.

My makeup has been switching up a lot lately But my favourite concealer is still the Rimmel Wake Me Up Concealer. I find when I use it with a BB cream, on most days I don't even need to use a foundation at all! Crazy, I know. And for my Eyes I've been going all Over with the Maybelline Colour Tattoo in Inked in Pink, then brushing over it with the bronze eyelid colour in the Wet n' Wild Comfort Zone Palatte. The combo of these two products gives my lids a gorgeous rose-gold colour that looks great with a winged liner or just a simple pencil.

That's all my Loves for May! Is there anything you've been obsessing over lately? I love recommendations!
